Pick & Scan

Manual picking processes were error-prone and lacked accountability. Pick & Scan is a mobile app that mirrors on-ground warehouse workflows, enabling real-time tracking of picks and improving visibility for operations teams.

Designing for operational environments is not about changing behaviour, but aligning with it.

The focus was on mirroring existing workflows to ensure seamless adoption and minimal disruption.

🧠 Problem

Warehouse picking relied on manual processes, resulting in:

Errors and missed picks due to lack of system validation
Limited visibility into pick progress and task ownership
Difficulty tracking completion across pick lists
Low accountability across operators

Existing workflows were deeply embedded, so introducing a new system risked:
